The SBCAP focuses on outreach efforts to businesses to make them aware of new and existing regulations.

SBCAP encourages businesses to use pollution prevention (waste reduction) as a means of achieving compliance and reducing their overall regulatory burden whenever possible. Prevention is often the most cost effective way to deal with environmental compliance issues.  Assistance is provided through

• Mapping tools designed for the non-expert. 
• Facility Specific Search Tool allows access to environmental information maintained on a number of programs (hazardous waste manifest database, spills, ust, brownfields, stormwater permits, contaminated sites) in real time!

• Facility Specific Wastewater Search Tool for documents and/or plans associated with permits issued by the Regional Offices. It's as easy as typing in the name of the Town where your project is located (if you know nothing else).
